Job Summary

As a Sr. Learning & Development Specialist, will be in charge to design, maintain, monitor and enhance programs, policies and procedures in relation to Learning, Career Development and Succession Planning in order to identify and execute plans for career progression routes of employees; to develop an appropriate learning plans for career and competency development; and to support succession planning so as to reduce operational risks within the parameters of the established human resource and business strategies. Help the whole Organization’s employees make the most of available learning opportunities; suggest training or development opportunities to assist the employee in meeting his or her career objectives

Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate individual and organizational development needs;
  • Design, maintain, monitor and enhance programs, policies and procedures in relation to Learning, Career Development in order to identify and plan for career progression routes of employees;
  • Develop and execute appropriate learning and development plans for career and competency development to support succession planning so as to reduce operational risks.
  • Assess the success of Development plans and help employees make the most of learning opportunities.
  • Help managers develop their team members through career pathing
  • Assess the success of development plans and help employees make the most of learning opportunities;
  • Track budgets and negotiate contracts
    Create and execute learning strategies and programs
  • Extract LMS data for analysis. Provide reports on the status of training completions, effectiveness, and other operational metrics
  • Deliver training content that is tailored to the specific needs of the client
  • Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously, maintaining momentum, and managing to project due dates;
  • Work cross-functionally with subject matter experts to define key Learning and development content areas for existing employees.
  • Perform other duties as assigned to support talent development initiatives;

Requirements:

  • Bachelor degree in HR development discipline or related business degree (Training / Development certification is preferred)
  • 7+ years of work experience as Learning and Development specialist or similar HR role
  • In-depth knowledge of full-cycle of Talent Development and individuals/ business needs;
  • Familiarity with a variety of different training and development methods
  • Excellent time management skills (prioritizing and follow-up)
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills;
