Job Summary
As Cloud Financial Specialist at CNTXT, you will be responsible of Monitoring cloud usage and
spending data to identify cost-saving opportunities. Developing and implementing strategies to
optimize cloud costs. Collaborating with finance, operations, and technology teams to drive cost
optimization initiatives. You will enable organizations to get maximum business value from
Cloud by helping technology, finance, and business teams to collaborate on data-driven
ensuring financial efficiency, maximize profitability, and providing valuable insight s to support
strategic decision.
Responsibilities:
- Manage the financial aspects of our GCP products and Services, including providing support on invoicing and revenue recognition, and cost analysis using GCP tools like Cloud Billing and Cloud Cost Management.
- Partner with Sales, Product and Delivery teams to ensure accurate pricing and cost estimation leveraging tools specific to GCP or other products.
- Analyze financial data and generate reports to identify cost saving opportunities and track key financial metrics.
- Prepare financial forecasts and budgets for all Cloud products and services, aligning them with overall business goals.
- Bridge the gap between finance and technical division, by supporting both teams withGCP analysis and reporting.
- Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams (Sales, Product and Delivery) to foster a culture of financial accountability.
Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices in GCP financial management with a focus on GCP tools and resources. - Work closely with sales to analyze customer cloud consumption, and identify areas for optimization, and achieve cost savings.
- Conduct comprehensive assessments of clients’ cloud spending patterns and cost structures.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Management Information Systems “MIS”, Information Technology
Management, Or related field - Knowledge and understanding of Public Cloud pricing schemes.
- A strong financial skills and understanding of accounting norms in the tech industry.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in financial operations, preferably within a technology or cloud services company.
- Proven experience with cloud billing and cost management tools, with a strong understanding of GCP-specific offerings like Cloud Billing and Cloud Cost Management.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate across departments and External clints.
- Proficiency in financial modeling and forecasting techniques, with strong attention to details and accuracy
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Experience with data analysis and data visualization tools
