As the Chief Executive Officer of CNTXT, Abdullah Jarwan aims to establish a national champion in the field of Cloud and Digital Transformation, providing a full range of cloud and digital products and services to customers in Saudi Arabia and MENA region.
Prior to this, Jarwan spent two decades with Saudi Aramco leading different organizations and teams. In February 2020, as Transaction Manager, he led the negotiations with Cognite and Google Cloud to establish CNTXT.
In August 2016, Jarwan assumed the position of Administrator of Systems Support Division, and was responsible of establishing and managing Saudi Aramco's private cloud and IT infrastructure. While in this role, he developed employees' communication and awards programs to increase employee engagement and communication transparency. These programs were adopted and deployed by different organizations within the company. In October 2011, Jarwan was appointed to lead the Identity and Access Management organization. In August 2012, he led the application recovery task-force during the cybersecurity incident.
Over the course of his career at Saudi Aramco, Jarwan has demonstrated versatile leadership in roles spanning Cybersecurity, IT infrastructure, Cloud and Applications Development domains.
Jarwan joined Saudi Aramco in 2002 after earning his bachelor’s degree in Management Information Systems from King Fahd University of Petroleum and Minerals.
Chief Cloud Officer
With more than 20 years’ experience in the enterprise solutions domain, Ibrahim is responsible for developing a highly-skilled cloud team that will support customers on their cloud journey at CNTXT. He is an experienced IT leader, and previously led corporate business solutions development for Saudi Aramco, with a special focus on user experience and best-in-class technologies.
Ibrahim managed the digital transformation related to Enterprise Mobile Applications and DevOps for Saudi Aramco and was integral to the introduction of RPA, Artificial Intelligence, AR/VR and other digital transformation technologies.
Chief Digital Officer
Halvard is responsible for building and leading the team that delivers digital transformation services, solutions and products to CNTXT’s customers. Prior to joining CNTXT, as an early employee of Cognite, Halvard led the technology teams that built Cognite Data Fusion.
Today, Cognite Data Fusion is considered the world’s premier Industrial DataOps platform. During the early years of his career, Halvard was involved in the Oslo startup scene where he gained valuable experience as a full-stack developer and UX researcher.
Chief Strategy Officer
Giedre is responsible for developing the corporate vision, establishing the partner ecosystem and managing strategic planning for CNTXT. Prior to this role, she served as Vice President of Marketing and Communications at Cognite and helped turn the technology brand into one of the most recognized in Europe. Giedre has held various roles within strategic marketing, branding, and communications, and served in a number of industry organizations, such as the Society of Petroleum Engineers (SPE). In 2019 she was named among the Top 100 management talents under 35 in Norway by business publication E24.
Chief Human Resources Officer
CNTXT’s human resources strategy was developed by Waleed to ensure that we have the talent needed to achieve our business priorities. He has more than 30 years’ work experience in managing and interpreting HR policies, procedures, and training programs, and has developed and implemented comprehensive HR programs and business processes for various Saudi Aramco joint-venture organizations.
Waleed holds a Master’s in Human Resource Development, and a bachelor degree in statistics.
Chief Technology Officer
Using his deep technical knowledge and business expertise, Even is responsible for CNTXT’s technology vision and strategy that drives our key competitive advantages of technology adoption and a strong software engineering culture. Previously Senior Principal Architect at Cognite, Even led strategic IT projects such as the development of the on-premise version of Cognite Data Fusion. He was the technical lead on many of Cognite’s most important engagements (Saudi Aramco, OMV, Wintershall DEA, and more). Even is deeply passionate about open-source technology, and has been programming for more than 20 years.
Chief Financial Officer
As the Chief Financial Officer, Saud is responsible for all accounting and finance activities and he acts as strategic advisor to the corporate executive management to achieve CNTXT vision. Prior to this role, Saud was appointed as Financial Controller representative to lead the finance department at the joint venture project between Saudi Aramco and Total “AMIRAL” in Italy. Saud started his career with Saudi Aramco in 2006, during his 16 years with Saudi Aramco, he spent most of his career within Finance, Strategy & Development Organization and served in a number of roles in Accounting departments related to Operations, Reporting, and Policies. In 2012, Saud earned his Master degree from Willamette University in Business Administration.
Head of Academy
Nora’s main objective is together with Google to establish the largest Center of Excellence in the middle east, with the aim of providing training and upskilling of local Saudi workforce. Nora is a seasoned IT professional and a certified Google Cloud Professional Architect with more than 10 years of experience spent in Saudi Aramco IT organization with various roles supporting Saudi Aramco’s Enterprise Cloud.
Head of Cybersecurity
Wesam is responsible for cybersecurity in CNTXT. Previously, she led various cybersecurity projects spanning Saudi Aramco and its global offices in the field of cybersecurity governance, compliance, and supply chain. Wesam is an active member in various industry communities and associations including the World Economic Forum’s Oil and Gas Cyber Resilience Community, where she co-led delivery of multiple projects including the first Global Cyber Resilience Pledge.
