We’re on the hunt for a strong communicator and technical visionary with Google Cloud architecture and DevOps experience. You’ll be the wizard behind the curtain, managing our GCP-based systems while working closely with cross-functional teams to understand their needs and create effective solutions.
How you’ll impact
As a Cloud Architect at CNTXT, your mission is to interpret business requirements and translate them into efficient, scalable solutions on Google Cloud Platform. You’ll design, develop, monitor, troubleshoot and optimize the performance of GCP-based systems and applications, and collaborate with development teams to implement continuous integration and continuous delivery pipelines.
What you’ll do
- Be a go-to expert on Google Cloud Platform and its services.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to analyze business requirements and contribute to the development of scalable and efficient GCP-based solutions.
- Assist in the design, development and deployment of GCP infrastructure and applications, leveraging services such as Compute Engine, App Engine, and Cloud Functions.
- Contribute to ensuring the security, scalability, and reliability of GCP infrastructure by implementing industry standards and best practices.
- Assist in developing and maintaining infrastructure-as-code (IaC) using tools such as Terraform, Cloud Deployment Manager or similar technologies.
- Collaborate with development teams to implement continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines using tools such as Cloud Build, Jenkins, or GitLab.
- Stay current on industry trends, emerging technologies and best practices related to Google Cloud architecture and multi-cloud strategies.
- Provide technical guidance to other team members and share knowledge across the organization.
- Participate in pre- and post-sales activities, including client meetings, presentations, and proposal development.
What you’ll bring
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
- Ideally, a Google Cloud Associate Cloud Engineer certification or equivalent certifications.
- 5+ years of experience in architecture with a 2+ years focus on Cloud Platform.
- Strong knowledge of GCP services such as Compute Engine, App Engine, Cloud Functions and other related services.
- Proficiency in infrastructure-as-code (IaC) tools such as Terraform, Cloud Deployment Manager or similar technologies.
- Experience implementing CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Cloud Build, Jenkins or GitLab.
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
